Equilannoo is a new, strong brand in equine nutrition from Arvesta, created from the merger of the two renowned brands Feeders Lannoo and EquiFirst. With more than 120 years of experience in the horse feed industry, Equilannoo combines the expertise of both brands with an unparalleled passion for horses. The brand focuses not only on providing quality feed, but also on the welfare and health of horses, from family ponies to Olympic champions.
What makes Equilannoo unique?
Equilannoo is unique because of its unwavering focus on health and quality - or in other words because of our ‘Certainty of healthy feed’. What really sets us apart is that we produce the bulk of our range of products ourselves. We are one of the few horse feed specialists who can flake their own grains, extrude grains themselves and have the people in-house to combine this into a unique product on the market. Full control of the production process from A to Z, guarantees the assurance of healthy feed. Our products are scientifically based and sustainably produced, with the health of the horse always central. With Equilannoo, we want to be top of mind for everyone who works with or loves horses, whether an Olympic rider or a hobbyist. On top of this, we have a team of experts who give our customers the correct advice and make a difference in the stable. Everyone can count on us. Furthermore, we work with some unique raw materials. On the one hand, we use Linamix, an extruded grain-free linseed pellet, which has a positive effect on intestinal health, in our products. Horses fed Linamix become healthy from the inside out. This shows through improved condition and super shiny coat. Our Equisweet is also unique. Equisweet is a source of slow sugars where we can press grains that can couple a higher energy level with a low glycaemic index. This raw material does not result in an insulin spike in the blood, and still provides good pressing quality and binding capacity.

To give you an impression, in these products we work with mycotoxin binders, Digestive Support, natural antioxidants, greatly increased vitaminisation and so much more as additives so that horses at the highest level in sport receive the necessary support in all areas. Horses are becoming more and more delicate, including in terms of gut and stomach health. It is our mission to do everything we can to ensure that these top horses arrive healthy at the start of their next competition. Also, using the best digestible fibre, as an intermediate in this range gives us and our customers opportunities. This allows Equilannoo to extend its reach and serve horse lovers all over the world. We have also ensured that in addition to our advice to the professional market and fodder, we will bring very much content to our customers on the shop floor. The aim is to be able to advise and assist our customers to the maximum in their journey to the most healthy feed for their horse.
From when can the new products be ordered?
The products will be produced gradually in November. They will also be available for trade and customers from December 2024.
