The nutrition triangle

Our horse feed packages contain a representation of the equine nutritional triangle on the back. With this, we want to indicate the importance of the different components of the ration. At the top, the most important component is the provision of fresh drinking water. Did you know that an adult horse of around 600 kg drinks around 30-35 litres of water per day under normal conditions without work? With vigorous work, this requirement is doubled!

After fresh drinking water, we see the importance of roughage. The quality of roughage plays an important role in putting together the ration. For our professional customers, we offer the possibility of having the roughage analysed. This analysis shows how high quality the roughage is and how we can respond to this with the concentrates, supplements and balancers.

By importing the analysis results into our ration calculator, we get a good picture of the horse's needs and how the current forage responds to them. We can then see how we can respond with our products to meet all the needs perfectly and get or keep the horse in good condition.
